Arts Center Names First Director – News & Citizen, January 25

“Annie Houston has been appointed as the first executive director of the Highland Center for the Arts in Greensboro.

Houston, a Craftsbury native, will start her new job Jan. 22. Since 2011, she has been a program officer at the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency based in Boston.

The Highland Center for the Arts is owned and operated by a trust. It has a 250-seat mainstage theater, a 150-seat adaptable performance and education space, a public art gallery and the Hardwick Street Café.”
