Ecstatic Dance with Cacao & Sound Healing

This ecstatic dance event is curated as a mini retreat with elements of expansion, expression, movement, deep relaxation, sound healing, and integration.

We will start with the medicine of cacao (the building block of chocolate), to open the heart and guide us into our bodies. We will then journey into a 90-minute ecstatic dance wave – a non-conversational space where we’ll be free to allow the music to move us, and to express ourselves through movement. We’ll follow the 5 rhythms structure for this dance wave, starting out slow and easy, building to a higher energy, and then easing back down into stillness and integration.

We’ll then move into an extended stillness period which will lead us into the sound healing portion of the event. Mallory will use crystal sound bowls accompanied by her voice for a harmonic and enchanting sound healing experience. This space will be an opportunity for participants to go deep within themselves – guided by sound – integrating the entirety of their experience.

We’ll conclude with a closing circle, in which participants will be welcome to share about their experiences, or remain in silence – whichever feels best in the moment!

This ceremonial event is designed to be a place to unplug, connect deeply with yourself and reset. It will be a powerful, nourishing, and rejuvenating experience!

WHAT TO BRING:
-Bring a yoga mat and/or blanket if you have one, to be comfortable for the sound healing portion of the event
-water bottle
-wear clothing that is comfortable and easy to move/dance in, such as yoga pants, leggings, stretchy fabrics, etc
