Ecstatic Dance Ceremony

Join Mallory Moon for an afternoon of Sacred Herbal Tea, Ecstatic Dance and Sound Healing!
This event is designed to be like a micro retreat – a place for you to connect, unwind, and receive with community in sacred space.

We will start off with an herbal tea circle! We’ll be drinking herbs that will help us open our hearts, connect with our bodies, and connect with the divine. We will also move through a guided meditation to drop into our bodies and set intentions.

We will then journey into a 90-minute ecstatic dance wave – a non-conversational space where we’ll be free to allow the music to move us, and to express ourselves through movement. We’ll follow the 5 rhythms structure for this dance wave, starting out slow and easy, building to a higher energy, and then easing back down into stillness and integration.

We’ll then move into an extended stillness period which will lead us into the sound healing portion of the event. Mallory will use crystal sound bowls accompanied by her voice and other instruments for a harmonic and enchanting sound healing experience. This will be an opportunity for participants to go deep within themselves – guided by sound – integrating the entirety of their experience.

We’ll conclude with a closing circle, in which participants will be welcome to share about their experiences, or remain in silence – whichever feels best in the moment!

WHAT TO BRING:
-Bring a yoga mat, bolster and/or blanket if you have one, to be comfortable for the sound healing portion of the event
-water bottle
-wear clothing that is comfortable and easy to move/dance in, such as yoga pants, leggings, stretchy fabrics, etc

About the Tea: The tea for the tea circle portion will be comprised of heart-opening, naturally caffeine-free herbs such as blue lotus, rose, damiana, etc.
