Join our team! Enjoy outstanding music, theater and film at no charge when you lend a hand as an usher, stagehand, greeter, attendant, or help with hospitality and publicity! When you volunteer for HCA, you help make it all happen, and together we further the arts in the place we call home.
HCA offers flexible volunteer scheduling and training. With so much happening, volunteers have many opportunities to help enhance the HCA experience for everyone.
Student Volunteers
HCA offers opportunities for students aged 14 & up to earn community service hours, gain work experience, and see shows at no charge. We will provide you with training to make sure everyone has a great time!

Together, we are catalysts for extraordinary connections. Your contribution allows HCA to present a dynamic, balanced, year-round schedule of locally and nationally sourced performances, exhibitions and events.
Your donation also demonstrates support for a foundational piece of our mission: to make the arts fit within the budgets of all people in the Northeast Kingdom and beyond. Your support allows HCA to offer free school programs, and deeply discounted tickets to students and EBT cardholders.
Donations are available as one-time gifts, recurring contributions, or as part of planned legacy giving. You may also donate to Highland Center for the Arts by adding a tax-deductible contribution to your ticket purchase. The Highland Center for the Arts is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. All donations are tax-deductible and directly advance the love of arts in our community. When you give, we give you a standing ovation. Event sponsorship allows you to promote your business while helping to support arts in the community. HCA welcomes over 10,000 guests through the door annually at performances, films, community events, gallery openings and at the HCA Cafe.
Sponsorship opportunities are available at various levels of support, including co-sponsorship. Acknowledgments include announcements from the stage, in print, on the website, email promotions and on social media. HCA advertises in local and statewide news outlets, radio, calendar listings, Facebook and Instagram.
