Fern Maddie

Fern Maddie 2 386

Fern Maddie is a balladeer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist based in Central Vermont (N’dakinna). Her songs — performed with clawhammer banjo, guitar, and clear, soulful vocals — explore themes of trauma, grief, and renewal. Fern’s modern interpretations of traditional ballads have earned national and international acclaim: her debut album, Ghost Story, was named #2 of The Guardian’s Best Folk Albums of 2022 and was listed on NPR’s Best Roots Music of the year.

Troy Millette

Troy Millette 2 386

Heart, humor, and humility are the keys to success for Fairfax, VT singer/songwriter Troy Millette. On the back of his witty onstage persona, imaginative covers, and heartfelt original songs, Millette has quickly earned a reputation as one of New England’s most promising up-and-comers. Whether performing solo or fronting the full-band project Troy Millette and the Fire Below, Millette brings a genuineness and sense of camaraderie to his live performances that is sure to entertain music-lovers of all kinds.

Jesse Taylor

Jessie Taylor 2 386

Highly introspective, Jesse Taylor pours her heart out into her lyrics and music. Originally from Maine, she has been residing in Vermont for the past decade and started publicly performing in 2015 after quitting dental hygiene school. She started drawing inspiration from long days in various service industry jobs and life with anxiety and depression. Taking notes from artists like Courtney Barnett, Regina Spektor, and Ingrid Michaelson, Taylor writes songs that mirror their passionate vocals, thoughtful lyrics, and unapologetic style. An intimate magic happens when it’s just her and an acoustic, although you can also find her performing with a full rocking band. On New Year’s Day 2021, she released Ever-Changing. This five-song EP was fully crowd-funded and recorded at Plaid Dog Recording in Allston, Mass under the watchful eye (and ear) of producer Mike Davidson. Her song “Disaster” from the EP was named The Best Vermont Song of 2021 by County Tracks.

Ian Steinberg

Ian Steinberg 2 386sq

Ian “has a voice that rings with the collective legacy of American music.” (Krister Axel of CHILLFILTR) Classically trained and heavily influenced by the folk styles of The Tallest Man on Earth and Joni Mitchell, as well as the rock styles of Radiohead, Ian combines dynamic and agile acoustic guitar with lyrics imbued with love and nostalgia, burnished by his New England upbringing. Born from the campfire and the conservatory, Ian delivers a nuanced and invigorating show whether he’s in a concert hall or your living room. Ian will wrap you in song and leave you wandering in his storytelling.

David Karl Roberts

David Karl Roberts 1 386sq

A native son of the Northeast Kingdom, DKR is a true Americana Troubadour and a familiar face in the Northeast music scene. As a songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and event producer, he can be found performing throughout New England at listening rooms, coffee houses, breweries, and bar rooms. His combination of soulful melodies, swampy blues, and outlaw folk, creates a blend of whiskey soaked Americana. His tunes have an organic, familiar feel…..his words tell the story, but his guitar ultimately sets the mood
