Join us for a festive evening where the air is filled with the sweet sounds of our amazing local talent, each note a testament to the extraordinary musicianship fostered within our own community. These are the voices and hands that have cultivated the soundtrack of the Northeast Kingdom, performing timeless musical pieces that echo the heart of Americana and Folk music beneath the soft glow of stage lights at the Highland Center for the Arts.
Our local musicians will be joined by our special guest, Dave Mallett, with Mike Burd on bass. Dave has recorded 17 albums, with his songs covered by countless other artists, including, Emmy Lou Harris, Alison Krauss, Kathy Mattea, John Denver, Liam Clancy, Arlo Guthrie, and many others. “There is no doubt that Dave Mallett has left an unfading imprint on Music City and Classic Americana Music forever.”
The enchantment doesn’t end with the music! Join us for the optional dinner before the concert. Savor the taste of the holidays with a sumptuous Traditional New England Holiday Supper, lovingly sourced from the fields and farms that dot our picturesque landscape. Indulge in a feast that includes succulent pasture-raised chicken, rich Cabot cheddar biscuits, the freshest of local greens, and a hearty roasted tempeh option for our vegan friends. The evening’s repast will conclude with a delightful dessert, the perfect sweet note to accompany an evening of joyous entertainment.
Every ticket, every note, and every bite contributes to a cause dear to our hearts—the “Arts in Schools Program.” Your presence supports the continuation of nurturing young talent and ensuring the arts remain a vibrant part of our children’s education right here in Greensboro.
