Fusing folk, funk, and bluegrass into genre-bending Americana, Boston’s Cold Chocolate features Ethan Robbins on guitar and Ariel Bernstein on percussion, backed by some of the roots music scene’s finest players. A classical violinist from age four, Robbins fell in love with the raw sound of the guitar. A master of restraint, the loose-wristed Bernstein brings a light and tasteful groove to Cold Chocolate’s tunes, filling out their sound and heightening the band’s live energy.
