Two opportunities in the NEK to work with artists from the Unidentified Body Parts Collective on the LIMBS project.
LIMBS, an art making ritual, where we create clay limbs in honor of the countless bodies we have witnessed in pieces in Palestine, Lebanon, and beyond over the last years. We gather to transform feelings of fear and anger into reasons to get together, make art and reclaim our sense of collective power. These pieces will be used to support children in reconstructive limb surgery hosted by the Ghassan Abu Sitta Fund in Lebanon.
The event will take place at Highland Art Center, 2875 Hardwick Street, Greensboro, VT 05841 from 1-4pm and at Bread and Puppet, Circus Field, 753 Heights Road, Glover, VT from 1-3 PM and 5-7PM before and after the Circus.
