Swing the Night Away

Sharpen your swing dancing skills with Vermont singer, dancer, and choreographer Taryn Noelle’s SWING THE NIGHT AWAY Series.  In preparation for our NYE Roaring 20’s Masquerade we’ll be hosting a series of beginner-friendly swing dancing classes, these classes are FREE for NYE ticket holders, and $10/per session otherwise. The dates are Wednesday, Dec 6th, Thursday, Dec 21st and Thursday Dec 28th, all dates start at 6:30pm. Attend a single session or all three. All abilities welcome.

Taryn is thrilled to be teaching this swing class series at one of her most treasured places in the State… the stunning Highland Center for the Arts!  Taryn works throughout northern and central Vermont as a stage director, choreographer, actor and vocalist.  Taryn received her own theatrical training in Musical Theatre at the Circle in the Square Theatre School in Manhattan, and while living in New York, she also studied and trained in the Ballroom and Latin dances.  Taryn often teaches wedding couples their first dance routines, and swing is often a favorite amongst all levels of dancers!  For the purposes of this swing class series, we’ll be focusing on Social Style, East Coast Swing, and dancers are welcome to bring a partner or come as a single… and we’ll all dance together in preparation for an amazing New Year’s Eve Roaring 20’s extravaganza!
