At 6:30 pm every Friday in June a different world-touring street performer will take to the outdoor stage with a rocking all-ages circus and comedy show, but that’s not all. Local celebrities Maya McCoy and Brent McCoy will host. Chefs Alice Perron and Tony Ingraldi will dish up delicious comfort food at the Café and the Bar, specializing in Barr Hill cocktails, will be open until 9 pm for outdoor socializing under the lights. Bring your family, visit with friends and enjoy a Vermont evening in the Northeast Kingdom with acts that will make you feel like you’re at a European street festival or on the cobblestones at Faneuil Hall. In true street performer fashion, admission is free but performers will pass that hat at the end of the show.

John Higby is the Yo-Yo Guy!  He has performed his unique high-energy comedy yo-yo show in 26 countries from New Zealand to Japan, holds the world yo-yo champion title and 4 Guinness World Records.  He has been featured on David Letterman, Discovery Channel’s Time Warp, Comedy Central, The Guinness World Record Show, Fetch with Ruff Ruffman on PBS, has his own Topps trading card, and is a Vermont Vaudeville alum!  ESPN magazine coined him “Unsung Hero” of 2008.  The Yo-Yo Guy is an interactive performance with yo-yos, unicycle, and a giant yo-yo that John walks on!

Showtime is 6:30 pm but arrive early to find a good spot, have dinner & drinks, play lawn games, and enjoy the pre-show ambiance.


Enjoy a delicious picnic dinner during the show! Order your picnic in advance when you purchase your tickets online, and dinner will be waiting for you when you arrive for the show. Picnics are available for pickup starting at 5 PM. A limited number of meals will be available for on-site purchase.

SHOYU DASHI BOWL: Soy, Kombu Seaweed, Bonito (Tuna) Flake Broth with Udon Noodles Topped with Menma (Bamboo shoots), Soy Marinated Egg, Pickled Red Onions and Nori With a Choice of Pork Belly or Tofu.

SOY-SESAME SALAD: Mixed Greens Topped with Oranges, Baby Pac Choi, Toasted Almonds and Sesame Seeds, Pickled Carrots and Red Onions, and Marinated Tofu served with a Soy- Sesame Balsamic Dressing.

SRIRACHA PEANUT NOODLES: A Bed of Udon Noodles Coated in Creamy Sriracha Peanut Sauce Topped with Pickled Carrots, Baby Pac Choi and Spring Onions With a Choice of Soy Glazed Chicken or Marinated Tofu.

VEGETARIAN CHILI & POLENTA: Homemade Chili Made With, Corn, Carrots, Poblano Peppers, and Two Kinds of Beans Over Our Cheesy Polenta with Jasper Hill Shredded Cheese.
