ESCAPE FROM NATURE is an absurdist exploration of the relationship between humans and their natural environment.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many residents left big city life in Boston or New York for a quieter, bucolic existence in rural New England. After time to contemplate their new surroundings, many newcomers have come to embrace a new and comparatively tranquil way of living. Others may still fondly reminisce of the hustle and bustle of the city, eagerly awaiting their return.
Calling the ESCAPE FROM NATURE hotline is a way to escape to the city, even if for just a fleeting moment.

Megan E. Barry is a lifelong artist and technologist. She received a BA of Fine Arts from the University of Colorado and currently resides in Western Massachusetts. She is eager to participate in the local arts community and find new ways to incorporate technology into her art.
