Since the first week of “stay at at home” protocols I’ve been emailing family and friends paintings and calling it “ Watercolor Wednesdays “ in an attempt to stay connected and spread a little light. The spirit of the outdoors has always been an ally in my artwork. These scenes have been inspired by the many trips  to Vermont to visit family. Here’s hoping these paintings find you safe and steady. Thanks to Highland Center for Arts for providing a platform in which we can stay connected.

  2. Richard , your watercolors of Winter in Vermont are absolutely stunning! The birches make me think of the icy blue light of winter and snowflakes falling on frozen stillness. How wonderful to share your art work with family and friends during these uncertain times! Thanks for your devotion to your artwork , your family and the larger community ! I look forward to the pleasure of viewing more of you artwork !
