Artist Biography

Trina Grier learned to sew from her mother and after retirement renewed her passion for sewing. Having traveled the world in her 60s and 70s, she has drawn inspiration from designs and fabrics from India to Australia to Nepal. In addition to creating flags each year for the HCA Open Air Gallery, Trina delights in making clothes for her new granddaughter and uses her abilities to support the Sanitary Pad Project, which aids girls in developing countries
