Art earned a B.S. in Biology from George Mason University and had the opportunity to work at the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History, Division of Birds.  That is when he became enamored with birds.   In 2013 Art started carving seriously and took some classes with three World Class Master Carvers.  Art is now a master carver that lives and works in Albany Vermont.  People from all over the country have commissioned or purchased his artwork.
