Depicting high realism with watercolor for nearly forty years, Elise Andréa has recently completed a fifth large NYC streetscene, “Night Draws Nigh” at her studio in Cambridge, Vermont. She took the photo reference in March, 2019, just one year before the virus lockdown began. Elise was raised on a mountain in Central Vermont and has lived on Craftsbury Common. She also paints Vermont landscapes and a great diversity of other subjects. Please see her works at Elise Fine Art on Facebook. Inquiries or portrait commission requests may be sent to [email protected].
Painting dog, cat, horse and other domestic animal portraits, as well as houses and sailboats on commission, has helped keep me afloat as an artist over the last few years! This is a 7×5 cat portrait I painted last week, titled “Sally on Alert”. Please let me know if you would like a portrait. They also make excellent personal gifts!

Wow! Your talent is incredible! I really love the way your subject matter is so diverse. The city street scene is so detailed and I can almost hear the city noises and smell the scents. Absolutely amazing. Thank for sharing.
Thank you so much, Julie! I am glad you can feel the city!
